Avery Patterson Named ACC Women's Soccer Defensive Player Of The Week


North Carolina sophomore defender has been tabbed ACC Co-Defensive Player of the Week. Patterson’s play on the back line helped the No. 5 Tar Heels earn a scoreless draw against No. 2 Virginia on Sunday. The sophomore controlled the UNC defensive effort that limited the Cavaliers to just two shots on goal in 110 minutes of play. (The ACC)
