The last time North Carolina took the field at Kenan Stadium against Florida State, the Tar Heels were quarterbacked by then-junior T.J. Yates and had players like Shaun Draughn, Bruce Carter, and Kendric Burney playing for head coach Butch Davis. The Seminoles’ coach was Bobby Bowden.
