Tar Heels add three to 2006 football class

North Carolina added three more football players from the state to its 2006 recruiting class yesterday by reaching west to land a fast running back, east for a big lineman and to the Sandhills for a linebacker. Committing were Johnny White, a 6-0, 195-pound senior tailback at Asheville High School; Morgan Randall, a 6-6, 255-pound offensive tackle prospect from Greenville Rose High; and Wesley Flagg, a 6-0, 215-pound linebacker from Fayetteville's Jack Britt High. White is considered one of the state's top-10 seniors by recruiting analysts.
