NBA summer-league game reunites May, Felton, Williams
Posted Jul 23, 2005
As players scattered Friday after the NBA's Rocky Mountain Revue ended, three college buddies had one final on-court fling before things get down to serious business in a few months. The Atlanta Hawks beat the Charlotte Bobcats 105-99 in a game that featured rookies from North Carolina -- Sean May and Raymond Felton (Charlotte) and Marvin Williams (Atlanta). It was a game that cemented May's status as the summer league's MVP, had Felton continuing to look for consistency as an NBA point guard, and that Williams used to build on after a week's full of struggles.
