Florida lineman Zack Handerson commits to Tar Heels
Posted Jul 22, 2005
One of the top high-school linemen in Florida, Zack Handerson, will play at North Carolina. Handerson, a 6-7, 265-pound offensive tackle, committed Wednesday after attending one of North Carolina's summer football camps. A rising senior at Bartram Trail High School in Jacksonville, Handerson already had 20 scholarship offers, but said he chose UNC because of its academic reputation and because he considers the program to be growing under Coach John Bunting.
