The North Carolina linebackers denied Miami in the final seconds to pull the Tar Heels out of peril and secure a 45-42 victory in ACC football Saturday at Kenan Stadium. Sam Howell has become a bowling ball for UNC. The quarterback bounced off three Miami defenders on a critical 11-yard touchdown run.
