Since taking over as North Carolina's head men's basketball coach, "shooting" and "spacing" have been Hubert Davis’ most-used buzzwords — and his retooling of the frontcourt reflects those values. Following the departures of Day'Ron Sharpe and Walker Kessler, Davis quickly addressed this issue by bringing in Oklahoma transfer forward Brady Manek.
