Asheville High running back Johnny White leaning toward UNC commitment
Posted Jul 20, 2005
The Tar Heels have emerged as a frontrunner for Asheville running back Johnny White despite offers from Arkansas and South Carolina and interest from Tennessee, Virginia and Wake Forest. “I think I like North Carolina even more now then before I left for the camp. I like the coaches, the way they run the program, and I feel like it’s a team that is getting better. I just really like everything about them.” White rushed for 2,184 yards and 39 touchdowns in 2004.
