Former UNC hoops player invents "Bar-In-A-Box"
Posted Jul 14, 2005
Bar-In-A-Box is the brainchild of Phillip McLamb, a 2004 graduate from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. While earning a dual degree in History and Spanish, Phillip played JV basketball his freshman year and was a 3 year varsity letterman. Now he's developed a portable bar. Bar-In-A-Box assembles in a snap, with no tools required. Its unique design can be put together and taken down in just a few minutes and stored in the original box. It even has a place to hold a keg and is perfect for tailgating.
