Timberwolves sign first-rounder Rashad McCants

The Minnesota Timberwolves and first-round draft pick Rashad McCants agreed to a contract on Monday. As is club policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed. The 6-foot-4 guard was selected by Minnesota with the 14th overall selection out of North Carolina, where he played three seasons and averaged 17.6 points, 4.1 rebounds and 2.1 assists in 98 games.
