Sam Howell Headlines 21 Tar Heels to be Honored on Senior Day

North Carolina will honor 21 football players Saturday as part of Senior Day, coach Mack Brown confirmed on Monday morning (Video). Of the biggest significance is the decision of three-year starting quarterback Sam Howell to leave UNC after his junior season and enter the 2022 NFL Draft. “I haven’t thought Sam was coming back since last year," Brown said.
