UNC Tar Heels weather the storm at College of Charleston

North Carolina absorbed College of Charleston's hostile environment. Coach Hubert Davis’ club rode the inside dominance of Armando Bacot and some clutch shooting down the stretch to a 94-83 victory with Davis’ old boss, Roy Williams, in the house. Bacot ruled the paint with 24 points and 12 rebounds, blocking six shots and affecting many more.
