UNC's Mack Brown squashes retirement rumor

North Carolina football coach Mack Brown dismissed an internet rumor that the longtime college football coach was contemplating retirement after the 2021 season, according to a report Wednesday by The Athletic's Andy Staples. Brown claimed a "prominent agent" had been spreading misinformation in hopes of sabotaging the Tar Heels' recruiting efforts.
