Mack Brown noted that UNC quarterback Sam Howell was questionable for Saturday with an injury to his left (non-throwing) arm. Howell is expected to be healthy for the NC State game next Friday, so you’d have to imagine that Brown and Phil Longo would prefer for Howell to give his mom a rose and a hug, then put on a headset and chart plays.
