‘In great hands’: Sam Howell believes in backup QBs for UNC’s home finale

If Sam Howell doesn’t play this weekend, the North Carolina star quarterback believes his understudies Jacolby Criswell and Drake Maye are equipped to perform in an elevated role. Coach Mack Brown said Howell, who’s making progress in dealing with an upper-body injury, will be a game-time decision when the Tar Heels host Wofford on Saturday.
