Charlotte Bobcats say rookies won't be pitchmen


You might assume the Charlotte Bobcats plan to put and front and center in their marketing campaign for the 2005-06 season. You might assume the Bobcats plan to actively market the team throughout the state now that two former University of North Carolina standouts are set to be franchise cornerstones. But that's not the way that team officials see the marketing playing out, especially in the near future. (Winston-Salem Journal)
