With defense, effort lacking, UNC struggles in loss to Tennessee

Two areas Hubert Davis never wants to worry about are defense and effort but both are big concerns through four games. Brady Manek and Armando Bacot gave UNC a big lift offensively against Tennessee. But the problem for the Tar Heels was that there was little scoring punch from anybody else until it was too late as defensive lapses kept coming. (Tar Heel Tribune)
