Matson, Sholder, Sumfest Earn Field Hockey All-Region Honors

Three Tar Heels have earned National Field Hockey Coaches Association All-South Region honors. Forward Erin Matson and midfielder Cassie Sumfest were named to the first team and midfielder Meredith Sholder made the second team. Matson led the nation with 27 goals and 64 points this season as she became the all-time goals leader in ACC history.
