A N.C. State win Friday paired with a Wake Forest loss at Boston College on Saturday would create a three-team tie atop the Atlantic Division. In that scenario, the Wolfpack would win the Atlantic. It’s a motivational tool for UNC, although none of the Tar Heels were biting this week when asked about the opportunity to ruin their rival’s ACC title chances.
