Josh Downs sets UNC record for most receiving yards in a season

Against NC State on Friday, North Carolina receiver Josh Downs passed Hakeem Nicks to set the Tar Heels' single-season record for most receiving yards as he eclipsed Nicks' record of 1,222 from 2008. Downs becomes the sixth player to record 1,000 receiving yards in a season, joining Nicks, Ryan Switzer, Dazz Newsome, Dyami Brown, and Dwight Jones.
