Daniel Bard re-signs with Colorado Rockies for one-year, $4.4 million


The Colorado Rockies took care of some business Tuesday, signing right-handed reliever to a one-year, $4.4 million deal. Bard, 36, whose comeback to the major leagues has been well documented, got the first big payday of his career in his third and final year of arbitration eligibility. His 67 appearances last year were second-most on the Rockies. (Denver Post)
