Tar Heels bring energy, defense in big win over Michigan

North Carolina's defense showed up against Michigan but it took the offense a while to follow. Eventually, the Tar Heels were creating offense with their defense. In one of UNC's most complete games of the season, the Tar Heels had more assists than turnovers for the first time in three games to knock off No. 24 Michigan 72–51 at the Smith Center.
