‘Like a microwave’: Dawson Garcia scores in bursts as UNC meets Georgia Tech in ACC opener

Dawson Garcia packaged his points into such promptly produced bursts during UNC’s last game that he had teammate Armando Bacot using a vintage NBA nickname in appreciation. “I mean, he’s like a microwave,” Bacot said. “When he gets going, he can just score in bunches.” Garcia is one of five Tar Heels scoring double figures on the season.
