Timberwolves get UNC guard McCants with top pick

The Minnesota Timberwolves selected Rashad McCants, the sometimes enigmatic North Carolina guard, with the No. 14 pick in Tuesday night's NBA draft. "He's the active, athletic, breakdown-type of player that we coveted since I got here," coach Dwane Casey said. "We're excited to get that guy that can breakdown the defense and take a guy one-on-one with the shot clock winding down."
