UNC DB Kyler McMichael Opting Out of Bowl Game, Preparing for NFL

North Carolina’s Kyler McMichael is opting out of the Duke’s Mayo Bowl game against South Carolina and will begin training for the NFL, a team source confirmed Monday. The junior cornerback participated in UNC’s Senior Day festivities on Nov. 20. McMichael started eight games this season before being replaced by cornerback Storm Duck in November.
