Roy Williams' past bodes well for Tar Heels' future

If history is any indication, next year's Tar Heel basketball squad will fare much better than most media speculate. In an article dated March 10, 1990, new Kansas coach Roy Williams is praised for taking an unheralded Jayhawks team - all but ignored in the rankings - and turning them into a 28-3 national power, earning the Big 8 coach of the year in the process.
