Tar Heels in NBA: Danny Green notches 1,500th 3-pointer; Wayne Ellington makes huge 3 for Lakers

Danny Green’s three 3-pointers against Miami gave him 1,500 for his career, and he tied his career-high with five steals. Green, who had nine points and six rebounds, is 40th on the all-time NBA 3-pointers list, trailing Phoenix’s Chris Paul by seven. Wayne Ellington, another member of UNC's 2009 NCAA champion team also notched some big three 3-pointers.
