No. 20 UNC Wrestling Edges Appalachian State, 17-15


The No. 20 North Carolina wrestling team notched the 17-15 win at Appalachian State on Friday night. No. 9 Kizhan Clarke was in control the whole match en route to a 7-3 decision at 141. No. 7 Austin O'Connor took care of business at 157 and earned the 12-3 major decision. Gavin Kane earned a clutch 3-1 decision at 184 to give the Tar Heels the lead. (GoHeels.com)
