Tar Heels Secure Holiday Win Over Appalachian State

North Carolina utilized its athletic advantage and poor shooting by Appalachian State to take care of business before the holidays with a 70-50 win over the Mountaineers. UNC shot 47% from the floor (55% in 2nd half) while App State shot 31% and 13% from three-point range. Armando Bacot led all Tar Heels with 16 points, while R.J. Davis scored 15.
