Sylvia Hatchell working on strong recruiting class
Posted Jun 24, 2005
North Carolina women's basketball coach Sylvia Hatchell has accomplished much during her career, including winning the ACC's only NCAA women's basketball championship. The veteran coach added to the list earlier this week. On the first day she was allowed to call rising high school seniors, she got in touch with all the players on her list. "For the first time in 20 years of coaching, I got every one of them," she said. "By 7 o'clock, I had talked to every kid on the list. I guess having a good year helps that."
