Hubert Davis: 'I Have Used the Bench as a Motivator'

A recurring theme during Hubert Davis’ time as UNC’s basketball coach has been his tight lineup rotation. Six Tar Heels average at least 22 minutes per game. "I have used the bench as a motivator. And when I don't see energy, effort, and toughness, there will be substitutions," Davis said Friday (Video). "I always believe that a great teacher is the bench."
