Drake Powell, the 6-foot-5 small forward from Pittsboro (NC) Northwood, impressed at the John Wall Invitational with his defensive versatility, athleticism, and ability to slash and make mid-range shots. The young recruit, whose father played baseball at UNC, already holds an offer from NC State and has also had Hubert Davis evaluate him at practice. (247 Sports)
