North Carolina erased a double-digit deficit in the second half, yet it was Notre Dame that made key plays down the stretch to send the Tar Heels home with a 78-73 defeat. Armando Bacot led UNC with 21 points and grabbed 17 rebounds in arguably his best game of the season. R.J. Davis added 19 points and five assists, while Caleb Love scored 15.
