Report: Jay Bateman Out as UNC Defensive Coordinator

Jay Bateman's tenure as North Carolina’s defensive coordinator is over, according to a report from The Athletic's Bruce Feldman. UNC and Bateman will part ways after a three-year run that failed to meet expectations following a promising stint at Army. Inside Carolina reported Thursday that Bateman was not expected to remain on next season. (Inside Carolina)
