Saturday provides an opportunity for the Tar Heels to snap a seven-game losing streak to Virginia in which UNC has averaged 53 points per game. That’s the part coach Hubert Davis wanted to make sure his team understood this week. "I let them know the last seven times we have lost against Virginia," Davis said Friday (Video). "Just to let that sink in."
