Armando Bacot entered his name into the ACC Player of the Year conversation Saturday, dismantling Virginia’s packline defense while posting career highs with 29 points and 21 rebounds in North Carolina’s 74-58 victory at the Smith Center. The Tar Heels snapped a seven-game losing streak with their first blowout victory against the Cavaliers in a decade.
