Posted Jan 8, 2022
North Carolina snapped its 7-game losing streak against Virginia on Saturday with a major contribution from a player who wasn’t here for any of it. Brady Manek, the grad transfer from Oklahoma, played like he took the Tar Heels’ slump in the series personally, posting 19 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists. The stretch-four caught fire from downtown.
