The fans who have listened to Mick Mixon for a lifetime, the co-workers who have walked sidelines and press boxes with him, and the friends who have shared dinners and quiet, unspoken moments, they're the ones who might not be sure what it will be like without him. Mixon, it appears, has a good sense of what's coming next. And a perfect sense of timing.
