Ryan Switzer on UNC Defensive Hires: 'I Really Couldn’t Be More Happy'

After finishing the 2021 season with the nation's 94th-ranked defense, UNC decided to part ways with defensive coordinator Jay Bateman and replace him with coaching veterans Gene Chizik and Charlton Warren. The moves have received positive reviews. No one seems more excited about the additions than former Tar Heel wide receiver Ryan Switzer.
