Gene Chizik Puts to Rest UNC Coach-in-Waiting Rumors


was announced as UNC's new defensive coordinator Jan. 8. Shortly after, rumors of a possible coach-in-waiting situation arose with Chizik, 60, taking over the head job when decides to retire.
