‘There Was No Hesitation’: UNC Football Introduces Gene Chizik and Charlton Warren

As soon as Gene Chizik stepped to the microphone for his introductory press conference Thursday (Video), he said two words: “I’m blessed.” The 60-year-old Chizik is now in his second stint with the UNC football program, having served as defensive coordinator under Larry Fedora in 2015 and 2016.
