"I was excited about the recruiting class, and obviously Coach Brown and the staff on all sides of the ball have done a remarkable job recruiting," Gene Chizik said during his introductory press conference (Video). “But that didn’t drive my decision.” However, as he met the current players, it became clear the talent pool is different now than in his first stint.
