This was the fifth time this season that two Tar Heels scored 20 or more points in a game (29 by Armando Bacot and 21 by R.J. Davis). Bacot is the first Tar Heel with 29 or more points in consecutive games since Tyler Hansbrough in 2007-08. Prior to Hansbrough, the last two occasions were by Antawn Jamison in 1997-98 and Hubert Davis in 1991-92.
