Tar Heels Lead Nation With 9 Women's Lacrosse Preseason All-Americans

North Carolina placed nine players on the 2022 Inside Lacrosse Preseason Women's All-America Team, released Tuesday: attacker Jamie Ortega, midfielders Olivia Dirks and Ally Mastroianni, defender Emma Trenchard and goalie Taylor Moreno. Ortega, Mastroianni, Trenchard, and Moreno all were consensus first-team All-Americas after the 2021 season.
