Former UNC linebacker Eugene Asante transfers to Auburn


Auburn is looking for immediate help and experience at the linebacker position. They’ll get that in North Carolina transfer and former 4-star recruit . Listed at 6-foot-1, 220 pounds, Asante is built more like a running back, but it’s that speed that is the key to his game. Playing in 37 games with the Tar Heels, Asante had 62 career tackles.
