Former UNC linebacker Eugene Asante transfers to Auburn

Posted Jan 18, 2022
Auburn is looking for immediate help and experience at the linebacker position. They’ll get that in North Carolina transfer and former 4-star recruit Eugene Asante. Listed at 6-foot-1, 220 pounds, Asante is built more like a running back, but it’s that speed that is the key to his game. Playing in 37 games with the Tar Heels, Asante had 62 career tackles.
