North Carolina Pulls Away From Virginia Tech Late, 78-68

North Carolina pulled away late to defeat Virginia Tech, 78-68 for a much-needed win in the Dean E. Smith Center. Caleb Love led all scorers with 22 points on 5-of-14 shooting (3-8 3FG, 9-11 FT) the Tar Heels' other four other starters joined him in double figures for the first time this season. It was Love’s first 20-point game since at Boston College on Jan. 2.
