Tar Heels' Marvin Williams likely Bucks' top pick
Posted Jun 13, 2005
The consensus among analysts and NBA executives is that North Carolina youngster Marvin Williams, who declared himself eligible for the draft following a freshman season in which he came off the bench for the national champion, will be the first forward selected. There's debate whether Williams, who averaged 11.3 points and 6.6 rebounds a game last season for the Tar Heels, could be the first player selected by the Milwaukee Bucks, owners of the No. 1 pick. Williams, 6-9, 230, is a multi-tool player at age 18 who has an incredible upside.
