So much for Roy Williams’ retirement offering the N.C. State basketball program a reprieve in this series. Even with a new coach in place, North Carolina’s result against its rival in red remained the same on Saturday. The Tar Heels led by as many as 28 points in the first half and coasted to their 34th win in 39 tries against the Wolfpack, 100-80 victory. (Inside Carolina)
