Losing big to UNC is a quick way for NC State to lose fans

The fastest way for any NC State coach to lose the fan base is to lose big to North Carolina. Kevin Keatts was hired after the 2016-17 season, in part, because Mark Gottfried lost to the Tar Heels by 51. That wasn’t good. Saturday’s 100-80 loss wasn’t either. A growing portion of State's fan base would like Keatts to suffer the same fate as Gottfried. (WRAL Sports Fan)
