What other institution could have the GOAT in the house, not make a big deal about it, and then bring him and the team he was part of onto the basketball court for recognition as the day’s secondary attraction? It’s safe to say only UNC could pull that off, sneaking Michael Jordan into the building as simply one member of the 1982 national championship team.
